Alemagou - an ancient Mykonian word meaning at last! - is a beach bar & restaurant at Ftelia beach designed by k-studio . The inspiration is a traditional Greek tavern with a twist in design of traditional Greek elements such as the whitewashed, smooth-edged houses, the dry-stone walls, the practical and durable screed concrete floors and the natural reed-thatched roof insulation that provides shade. At night, handmade pumpkin shell down lighting continues to animate the canopy from within, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere. The toilets are a great surprise, boasting basins made of real stones that creates a stunning water sculpture. And the way the toilet paper is hang on to the wall, isn’t lovely?
